NEW DELHI: Samsung has been rumoured to be working on a foldable smartphone for quite some time now, and has even filed multiple patents for the same. Last month, renders of the company's alleged 'Galaxy X' foldable smartphone surfaced online. And if a recent report is to be believed, the company may unveil its foldable smartphone at the upcoming MWC 2017 conference. The report by Korean website etnews claims that Samsung may showcase devices with foldable display panels that bend both inward and outward.
It goes on to mention that the smartphone will come with an 'underfold' and thus won't be able to fold exactly in half. This will likely allow a portion of the display to be exposed, where users will be able to access key apps quickly and check notifications.
